These decorative metal reeds simply reproduce the silhouette of cattails found along the edges of ponds, pools and rivers. Their slender shape, long narrow leaves and four cylindrical spikes create a light, natural and instantly recognizable decoration.

Their shape is more reminiscent of cattails, also known as bulrushes, than simple rushes. The four cylindrical flowers are positioned at different heights, giving the piece depth and a sense of movement.

Installation advice

Plant the lower section deeply enough into firm soil to keep the entire piece perfectly upright. In very dry or compact soil, first make a hole with a metal rod to avoid putting strain on the structure.

Care

To protect the metal while preserving its beautiful rust-colored finish, apply a transparent rustproof varnish such as Rustol approximately once a year. Also regularly check the stability of the stem, especially after severe weather.
